Just a quick note to say we had an excellent time at porfell, my family love the cheeky goats, and I have never been so close to animals before.
thank you a fun day we will be back!!!
hi, im from sparsholt college doing an animal management course. ive checked out you site and couldnt find anything on your history. im rather interested if you wouldnt mind telling me about it. you guys seem like a very good wildlife park. hope to hear from you
I just wanted to say a huge thankyou, for accommodating our 28 animal care students at the park over the last couple of weeks.
They had a great time and found your talk enlightening. Having been a couple of times myself, I can see the massive improvements that have been made to the animal enclosures -We will keep coming back!
Thank you for a lovely day out! We visited the farm yesterday, your staff were very welcoming and we were so impressed by how well kept the farm and the animals are. Some are roaming free which is lovely to see, others are in such well thought out enclosures. Porfell farm is great for all ages and is so far removed from a commercial zoo, enabling us to see animals relaxed and happy. A gorgeous little place, well worth a visit!
Thank you fora fantastic visit, your staff were more than helpful and being so close to the animals was fantastic. will definatly visit again.
What a fantastic place you have there! We stayed for hours, it was lovely to meet Wendy with the owls and in the cafe with Mac. It's the first time I have been there and we only live in Plymouth! More advertising is needed lol. Thanks once again, we got loads of photos if you want any.
We visited yesterday while on holiday for the weekend, and we were amazed! Lovely place, you can tell Wendy loves them animals like we do our pets at home. We fed the goats and miniture horse, and the monkeys!! We were so close to them and could put food through the bars where they ate from our hands, was the most amazing experience! We fed the wallabys and loved the one we saw wondering around amongst everyone! Brilliant trip to Africa, got our passport stamped
and were educated into how Africans live in the mud huts in the African village. we were quite fascinated by the owls and the display, and being allowed to meet and stoke them afterwards. Spent a few hours at the park, and loved every minute of it, I will be recommending you to everyone!! I have already shared your link on facebook
I am a childminder, and although its and hour and half away from where I live, I will be visiting with the children, this is an experience I am desperate for them to have!
Just to add, this place is nothing like any other 'zoo', a completely different experience!! No concrete paths, but woodland walks! amazing place, and very good work by wendy and her staff!

RThank you for a fantastic day out. To be able to feed the animals and intereact with them was wonderful. They are so obviously all contented and happy. We were lucky enough to arrive on a day where the owls were flown and we met the new baby owl. We will be back.
We recently visited you and had a wonderful and memorable experience. You have created a wonderful balance of pure enjoyment and education. The lady who talked about the ferrets, tortoise and the owls was so warm and engaging. The African village was a clever idea to add another important world dimension to the sanctuary. Your staff were ever so friendly and welcoming and we all hope that you continue to thrive and carry out your good work. We look forward to seeing you again on our next visit to Cornwall.
Hey, had the most wonderful day at the sanctuary. Thank you for the great experience of getting up close with the animals. I cant choose a favourite but I think Mac and the deer feeding are in my top 10 ![]()
Will definatly visit again soon. Have some amazing pictures too
Thanks again
